Cowboy Country Federal Credit Union is owned by its members and run by a Board of Directors who are elected by its members. One of the top priorities of the credit union is to ensure financial privacy of our members. You can be confident that your privacy is of utmost importance. The credit union will protect the confidentiality, security, and integrity of each member’s nonpublic personal information consistent with state and federal laws.

We collect nonpublic personal information from you off of applications and other forms, from transactions with us, and from the consumer credit reporting agencies. We do not collect information about our members that is not essential for our business purposes. We take all necessary precautions to protect the accuracy and privacy of all member information.

It is the responsibility of the Board of Directors, committee members, and employees of the credit union to protect all information regarding member accounts and personal information. Our employees are trained in the importance of maintaining confidentiality and member privacy. We also maintain safeguards that comply with federal regulations.

We may disclose information we collect about you under other cirumstances as permitted or required by law. If you terminate your membership with Cowboy Country Federal Credit Union, we will not share information we have collected about you, except as permitted or requested by law.
