HISTORY
Cowboy Country Federal Credit Union was originally Mobil Coastal Federal Credit Union. Mobil Coastal Federal Credit Union originated in 1948. In 2000, the name change from Mobil to Cowboy Country Federal Credit Union was adopted. This past February, we held our Annual Meeting and Banquet . Our field of membership has grown from less than a hundred to over 6100 members.
MISSION STATEMENT
Cowboy Country Federal Credit Union is an under served financial institution owned and operated by our members. We re-invest our member’s money into the community of Premont, Texas and the surrounding area. The reinvestment of funds back into the local communities provides a full range of personal affordable financial services to our members. Our goal is to stimulate the community development of our neighborhoods by providing a safe, sound, democratic alternative to traditional financial institutions. Cowboy Country Federal Credit Union will continually play a leadership role in the communities it serves by providing high quality, personal services in a friendly environment.
